RENAULT TRIBER WARNING LIGHTS
1) Hand-Brake ON Warning Light
This comes on when the ignition is switched on and goes out when parking brake is dis-engaged. if it comes on during braking and is accompanied by a beep, it indicates that fluid level in circuits is low. it may be dangerous to continue driving. contact approved dealer.
Advise :- Remove Hand-Brake , Check Brake Oil Level
2) Battery Charge Warning Light
if it comes on when you are driving, it indicates that the circuit has discharged . consult an approved dealer as soon as possible.
Battery Not Charging
Advise :- Check Alternator Fuse , Check Alternator Belt
3) Yellow Malfunction Warning Light
This lights up when the ignition is switched on and goes out after 3 seconds. it may comes on in conjunction with other warning lights on the instrument panel. it means you should drive very carefully to an authorized dealer as soon as possible. if you fail to follow this recommendation ,you risk damaging you vehicle.
Advise :- Check ECU Fuse
4) Red Malfunction Warning Light
This Lights Up When the ignition is switched on and goes out as soon as the engine is started and is accompanied by a beep. it requires you to Stop immediately, for you own safety, as off as traffic conditions allow. switch off the engine and do not restart it. contact an approved dealer.
Advise :- STOP Vehicle Immediately.
5) (A/B)Airbag Warning Light
This comes on when the ignition is switched on and goes out after a few seconds.
if it does not goes out when the ignition is switched on, or comes on when the engine is running , there is a fault the system. contact your Dealer .
Advise :- Check Airbags Fuses
6) (ABS)Anti-lock Braking Warning Light
This lights up when the ignition is switched on and goes out after a few seconds. if it does not goes out after the ignition is switched on, or lights up when driving, there is a fault with the ABS Braking will then be as normal, without the ABS system.
Contact an approved Dealer as Soon as Possible.
Advise :- Check ABS Fuses
7) Doors Open Waring Light
Refer to Opening/closing the doors in section 1
Depending on the variants, if any of the door is opened, warning light will comes ON indicating the exact door location in open condition accompanied by a message " DOOR OPEN " in the instrument panel.
Advise :- Close All Doors Properly
8) Oil Pressure Warning Light
This comes when ignition is ON and Goes out after few seconds.
if it comes on when you are driving accompanied and a beep, it is essential to STOP and switch OFF the ignition. Contact Your Dealer.
Advise :- Check Engine Oil Level
9) Variable Power Assisted Steering Warning Light
It lights up when the ignition or the engine is switched on and goes off after a few seconds.
if it comes on while driving, this means there is a system fault. contact ab authorized dealer.
Advise :- Check EPS Fuses
10) Coolant Temperature Warning Light
This bar display comes ON when ignition is ON and remains lit permanently(or) depending on the variant, the warning light goes off after few seconds.
Depending on the variants, if it blinks (or) gets ON when driving, this means the engine is overheating. Stop and allow the engine to run at idle speed for a minute or two. the temperature should drop. if not ,STOP the Engine .Let it cool down. Contact your Dealer.
Advise :- Check Coolant Level , Check Coolant Leakage ,Check Radiator Fan Working , if Not Working Fan Check Fan Fuses
11) Check Engine / Monitoring Exhaust Gas Warning Light
It comes on when the ignition is switched on and the goes out.
-if it lights up continuously, consult an approved dealer as soon possible.
-if it flashes, reduce the engine speed until the light stop flashing, contact your approved dealer as soon possible.
Advise:- Check EGR Fuses, Check Turbo Hose Pipe Any Leakages Air
12) Low Fuel Level Warning Light
This warning light gets ON when ignition is ON and remains lit permanently (or) depending on the Variant, the warning light goes off after few seconds.
Depending on the variants, if it blinks (or) gets ON when driving and accompanied by beep, it indicates the fuel level is getting low. fill up with fuel as soon possible.
Before starting the vehicle, always check the fuel level indicator in the instrument panel.
Advise:- Refill Fuel
13) (ESP)Electronic Stability Program Warning Light
There are several reasons for the warning light to come on see electronic stability program ESC with under steer control and traction control
Advise:- Check ESP Fuses, Possible Contact Your Dealer
14) ESP OFF Warning Light
The Warning Light ON The Instrument Panel Comes on to Warn You of this.
if you deactivated this function, the traction control system will also be deactivated.
the ESP/ESC with understeer control and traction control providing additional safety .
you are Advised Not to be Drive With the Function disabled.
Advise:- Turn ON ESC Switch
15) Seat Belt Warning Light
This Light Seat belt light , Not Wearing seat belt ,light Comes ON
Advise:- Fasten Seat Belt
