Check Car Before Long Trip All Details
( The car will not stop on the road )
*Car work needs to be done as per service schedule / maintenance
1. Car Documents:-
- Check RC Book (valid)
- Check Vehicle Insurance (Valid)
- Check Vehicle PUC (Valid)
- Driving License (Valid)
2. Emergency Kit :-
- First Add Kit
- Jumper Cable
- Torch (Flashlight)
- Normal Water
3. Check Tyre :-
- Check to see if the car's tires are broken.
- Check car Tyre bubble.
- Check if the air in the car tires is correct.
- Check Wheel Alignment And Wheel Balancing ( Alignment Centre )
- Checking if the car has a jack and tool
- Check if there is a stepony (Spare Wheel)
4. Check Battery :-
- Check the Battery water Level in the car battery.(Use Add Distilled Water )
- Check Battery (Indicator is Upper Battery ) Exp. Green = Good Condition, Red= Battery Low, White = Need to Charging.
5.Check Lights:-
- Check Headlight bulb(high Beam and Low Beam) Working Properly.
- Check Indicator Bulb Working Properly.
- Check Brake Stop Bulb Working Properly.
- Check Reverse Bulb Working Properly.
- Check Parking Bulb Working Properly.
- Check Fog Lamp Bulb Working Properly
6. Check Engine Oil :-
- Check Engine Oil Level (Use Recommend Oil)
- Check Engine Oil (If the Engine Oil is out of Replace Service Schedule , replace it.)
- Check Engine Oil Leakage (Any Pipes )
7. Check Coolant :-
- Check Coolant Level ( Use Coolant And D. Water)
- Check Coolant Condition Good/ Bad
- Check Coolant Leakage ( Any Pipes, Any Part )
8. Check Brake/Clutch Oil / P/S Oil:-
- Check Brake, Power Steering and Clutch Oil Level
- Check Brake, Power Steering And Clutch Oil Leakages (Any Pipes)
9. Check Air Filter:-
- Check Air Filter Dust ( Clean/ Replace = Good Fuel Efficiency )
10.Check Wiper Blade / Washer Spray:-
- Check Wiper Blade Clean Glass Properly
- Check Wiper Blade Any Rubber Cutes
- Check Washer Tank Water Level
- Check Washer Nozzle Spray Work Properly
11. Check Clutch Plate :-( Repairing workshop)
- Go to the car repair workshop and check the clutch plate. If it is bad, replace it.
12. Check Suspension :- ( Repairing Workshop )
- Check All Shocker ( Any Leakage, Damage)
- Check Lower Ball Joint ( Any Play ball Joint)
- Check Lower Arm Ball Joint And Bushes
- Check Steering Rack End And Tie rod End ( Any Play , Damage)
- Check Rear Susp. Bushes ( Play ,Cute)
13. Check Wheel Bearing :- (Repairing Workshop)
- Check All Wheel Bearing
- (To check if there is noise in the wheel while the car is running)
14. Check Brake Pad & Liner :- ( Repairing Workshop )
- Check Brake Pad Front And Rear Side Any Noise Press Brake Pedal
- Check Brake Condition (If the brake pad is reduced in size, replace it)
15.Check Engine Drive Belt :- (Repairing Workshop )
- Check Alternator Belt (Loose, Cutes,)(If it Is Bad Replace It )
- Check Ac Belt (Loose, Cutes,)(If it Is Bad Replace It )
- Check Timing Belt ,Idler , Tensioners (Any Noise, Loose, Cutes,) If the belt is out of Replace Service Schedule , replace it.
*Tips- If you are going on a long drive or a long trip, take it to a car repair workshop a day or two in advance. All these should be checked by a car mechanic. It is necessary to check all this so that the car stays in good condition and the car does not get stuck anywhere.
